We are seeking an associate veterinarian to join our team at Shoreland Animal Hospital in Toledo, OH. Part-time options available. All experience levels are encouraged to apply!

We are an experienced, 3-doctor team offering a wide-array of services including general wellness care, emergency and critical care, advanced diagnostics, dental + orthopedic surgery, laser therapy and more to a well-established clientele. Our team continually promotes the welfare of their patients through excellence in veterinary medicine and are happy to share their knowledge and experience through a supportive mentorship.

As a veterinarian with Shoreland Animal Hospital, we will empower you to:

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a warm, welcoming, and professional environment
• Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine, offering a wide range of services including surgeries, dental care, internal medicine, and emergency and critical care
• Practice with clinical freedom and autonomy alongside an experienced and collaborative team of doctors + support staff
• Utilize the latest in medical technology from our state-of-the-art facility
• Expand your surgical skills through advanced orthopedic surgical mentorship

Base salary $130k+ DOE and production with a phenomenal prosal earning potential and no negative accrual, a generous signing and retention bonus, paid relocation up to $50k.

The RISE Mentorship program is a rotational, immersion & skill-building, experience structured to support the transition from academia into clinical practice. Participants will be paired with an experienced mentor, while they practice medicine and manage their own caseload. Participants will move through the program with a nationwide cohort providing an added layer of peer mentorship and the foundation for a professional network. At the conclusion of the program, a one-year contract will be extended for you to continue full-time with continued mentor support

Who is this program for?

• New or Recent veterinary school graduates who are passionate about practicing high quality medicine and learning on the job, while developing new skills and strengths under the guidance of an experienced veterinarian
• Veterinary school graduates who are unsure whether they would prefer to go the ER or GP route

What is the program?

• Full-Time opportunity for you to practice medicine, learn on the job, and have additional support through a structured mentorship
• You will have the option of a 3-month mentorship in GP
• Salary: $100,000 plus the opportunity to earn production
• Benefits: Full-time benefits, relocation assistance
• Housing stipend provided during the 3- or 6-month mentorship experience
